Yes, I need to capture my leads but I don't want an autoresponder

Its true that without putting the effort of 'asking' for our web page visitors emails, we may loose them for good if they decide not to buy or join what we show them.

I don't think there is any software or scripts that can capture a visitor's email when they visit our web site.

Capturing our leads' I.P. address, where they are from, time of visiting, domain they are referred to are common utilities we can adopt by using counter and statistic services (even for free) available from the internet. But capturing email without them inputting it, is still new to me. Technology wise this is close to impossible.

Visitors, who are all potential leads, of our sales web page may not decide to buy not entirely because of no interest. Maybe the time is not right for them to buy or they need to do some research on the product you want them to buy. Problem is without any effort to get them to give their emails you may loose them forever.

Not everybody hate to give their emails away. When you have stir the interest of your readers from an article you wrote and they are ready to go to your sales web page via a link you have placed in your article, the 'desire' to buy is there. So what's wrong in giving out their email to something which may possibly benefit them.

I have been searching services (possibly free) that can offer visitors to type their email before it leads them to the web page we want them to go. Most that I see are from auto responders services. Although some of them give free on a trial period basis, they are offering something that I dont want which is auto responders. To me the ability of getting their email to my email box is good enough. I am not expecting thousands of fast sign up in a short period of time.

After doing my search, I found a free service by the name of 'optins' which from the website says that it is from the word optional sign ups. It has exactly what I want and its free. I am not worried if the service suddenly terminate or my membership terminated. All my leads are sent to me by emails so I don't need to copy their database because at anytime I can use the address contact list of my email box to send emails to them.
