Can email spamming bring you the sales you wanted ?
I don't think so.
First of all let us explain what we mean email spamming here. Its not sending email to a mailing list where these people have subscribe to receive information from us.
Nor do sending email with a special software using the emails we have bought either which claim to be your targeted market (in this case lets say that it is actually your targeted market).
You have collected lots of emails by what we call "harvesting" from the internet. There are special softwares that can 'spider' websites which meet your keyword search and extract the emails from these websites and kept in its database.
Then you prepare your email and send to the the list you have already harvested. Most probably they can be from your targeted market as you have made the search basing on a keyword.
For example you have something to sell to those who are doing forex trading. So you type the keyword "forex" in your email harvester search engine. It will take a few minutes or even hours where the spider scout the internet and landed itself on web pages which meet the search keyword which is "forex".
Whenever it see what could be an email, with the "@", it will copy the email address and group it in its email database.
Problem is, web pages which do have the word "forex" but not related to trading may also be included.
If this is the case, in order for you streamline, you can try using the keyword search of "forex trading" instead of "forex" alone which reduced the number of websites considerably.
But one caution,. By doing this you are nothing more than spamming. The owners of the emails have in no way sign up to receive any information you want to offer them. So getting an email from you out of the blue can get you into big trouble. They can report you as a spammer which can result your email or even your website being suspended or even banned.
But if you provide them with an optional sign up form, where they would choose to receive information from you rather than "forcing" them to swallow your information, not only your chances of them subscribing or buying your information is better but your conversion rate (possibility of them executing what you want to do) is far off better too.
Bottom line is, do not spam but use optional sign ups instead. It may be a slow process but it won't get you into trouble that you will regret in the future.
