There are millions of affiliate products online. Some are good and some are not so good. The not so good ones will have you frustrated even if you apply the right formula that works on any average affiliate products. So take your time in choosing the right products for you to affiliate market.

So how do you choose the right affiliate products ?

Good website sales page
This is very important for you to start affiliate marketing. If you are impressed with a sales web page where the message flowed to you swift and smoothly, it only means that the product creator took the trouble in making an effective sales page. You do not want to reinvent the sales page. You should not be doing this as first you are not relying on making sales on this product alone; you don't have the time to do this even if you can. Secondly, what do you know about making an effective sales page and thirdly and most important, the crucial affiliate scripts or programs are built in that page.
So take your time in accessing what can sale and what cannot

Good commission
Of course anyone want to be rewarded for his or her effort. The bigger the better. Do not settle anything less than $10 for a sale. Why we mention a figure rather than a % of the commission as different product creator (call them vendor) provide different commission % on their products. A $100 product with a 10% commission is as good as a $20 product with 50% commission which both gives you $10. But don't you think its harder to sell a product of $100 when compared to one of $20 ? Do study the $100 before deciding. It may be good after all. Perhaps the vendor could not get away with lesser pricing. Perhaps it require snail nail delivery and the product is real and not digital which should make you to consider.

Trusted affiliate host
This is also important. Clickbank and Paydotcom are well known and trusted affiliate hosts. There are a few more. They must maintain their reputation, if not not many people will sign up with vendors who use them as an affiliate host. They also earn on each sales made so it matters to them if a product cannot be sold as potential buyers cannot trust the affiliate host.
