If you are to make online articles writing as your livelihood, what should your benchmark be ?
At first I was asking the same question as the above. Should it be 1 article a day ? Or perhaps 2 or 3 or 4 articles a day ? But come to think it writing 1 article in an hour is unthinkable to me,that was before I read on the concept of "bum marketing".
What I did know as stated in the sales page, bum marketing is about writing and submitting short online articles to the many websites that host articles. Visitors will read the articles and may end up visiting the links you provide, if the articles are good.
To tell you the truth, that was the first time I heard of the articles submission method to get sales or traffic to your designated website but it make sense. I did not know that such articles website existed in the first palce. But I was willing to give that idea a try.
I downloaded the ebook which I bought from ebay. It was a cheap ebook less than $2 and quite thin too. I reckon the sales page caught my attention (not forgeting the word "bum") and decided to give it a read.
It was an eye opener all right. Later I checked on the link given in the ebook (which ebooks don't have this) to discover where the "bum marketing" concept originated from.
Now here is a shocker to you;
the benchmark that you must attain in order to bum marketing is 4 articles an hour !
If you give an 8 hours solid work a day that would churn out 32 articles !
The length of the articles should anywhere in between 300 - 400 words.
A whole day's work should cover only 1 affiliate or Master Resell Rights product.
And that was the challenge ! No wonder they call it "bum marketing" !
At first I was very skeptical and think the whole idea is plain ridiculous. Only nerds or super writer not forgetting typist can achieve the benchmark.
I decided to give it a try and I ended up smiling.
